1991 Gibson Les Paul Std. 40ths Anniversary
Description
1991 was my first visit at the Frankfurt Musikmesse, which was crowded with Ibanez and PRS guitars - not my cup of tea. But then I found one great guitar at the Gibson booth and foto #3 was taken. :) This example which I just recieved is from the same year and limited edition of only 300 pieces (check the net for more infos, this model has been extensively documented). Great medium neck profile and fantastic sound. Upgraded with a 70s slim-line ABR-1 bridge and a light weight aluminium stop tailpiece (original parts included). Additionally, you could replace the original stacked P-100 pickups with true single-coil P-90s for an even more lively, more dynamic sound. - Comes with brown case.
