While the old Supro instruments were made entirely of fiberglass, the new construction combines a newly developed “Acousti-Glass” top with a chambered mahogany back for more semi-acoustic resonance while at the same time being less susceptible to feedback. In addition, the top-heaviness has been eliminated compared to the originals."
