Fantastic LP model, that's already 34 years old and deserves "vintage" status! Top condition, nice medium C-shaped neck profile, great rounded sound. This one is quite rare at only about 50 examples built. Real nice with its tarnished nickel hardware, featuring an ABR-1 bridge with Pat. No. embossment. Upgraded with aged '59-style trussrod cover, brown switch tip. Comes with original Gibson brown case, upgrade AND original parts.a truly excepcional guitar. GIBSON LES PAUL SHOWCASE PRO EDITION, in fantastic collector grade condition. It´s a 1956-style LES PAUL PRO GOLDTOP pre-historic Custom Shop. This model was released back in 1988 (only 40 guitars). The serie was meant for 20 dealers only and that is how they were distributed. The 1956 goldtops were also named "Les Paul Pro". Each of the goldtops of this reissue were personally signed on the pickguard by Les Paul himself. It's hard to believe that this is already 29 years old. The guitar is in excellent overall condition, with some very light scratching and two little dings on the edge on the back. The guitar plays effortlessly, the pickups are well balanced and are capable of blues, rock, pop, jazz, bossa, high gain work and others. Needless to say, these guitars are sought after and very hard to find, with only 40 in existence. If anyone is looking for a guitar very valuable in years to come, this is it !
