1982 Gibson ES-335 Dot, blonde
Description
This is the original blueprint for the current "Rusty Anderson Signature" model. In 1982, many vintage correct reissue parts were not yet available, so I upgraded it with: aged aluminium stop tailpiece, aged Gibson non-wire ABR-1 bridge, aged '59-style hat knobs, aged '59-style trussrod cover, Gibson vintage-style tuners (installed without having new holes drilled, you can perfectly reinstall the original Grover tuners, if you prefer), aged '59 strap pins, expensive aged '59-style DMC pickup covers - just perfect authenticity! (All original parts, except for the PU covers, come included!). The blonde finish has darkened to a beautiful amber hue, just like on original vintage 1959 ES-335s and has great Dave Edmunds-approved vibe! Additionally, it has been professionally refretted, so it plays super comfortable with the fantastic medium neck profile and it sounds amazing! Great investment, too! Comes with original black case, upgrade AND original parts.
