2009 Helliver “Gregor Hilden Signature Model” - handmade in Germany flat top/flamed maple, fat neck (similar to Gibson '58), Ebony board. It's a really great guitar - and a great alternative to the Gibson. The body shape is based on a 70s Zemaitis design. Medium jumbo frets. Lightweight 3.8 kg. This model could also be ordered directly from Helliver (now Baron Guitars). Amber “Spirit of '59 Pickups”, out of phase switching (but my tech can also switch normally) Every now and then I was asked whether the “edge” in the cutaway disturbs playing? no, the edge is not noticeable at all and access to the high registers is even easier with this guitar than with a Gibson. I have played this guitar from time to time over the years - but I would now like to reduce the size of my collection and limit myself to my “core guitars”, i.e. the vintage guitars.
