Handmade in the 90s at Neustadt an der Weinstaße (GER). Fat birds eye maple neck, jumbo frets, faded blue figured maple top on a fat mahogany body. Equipped with Gibson P-100 soapbars, which can be switched from humbucking mode to P-90 (single coil) mode - in the latter, the sound is a bit more open and has a little more bass. Additional 5-way switch to enable an "in-between" strat sound and a traditional tele-sound, too (works with a small internal coil and was originally concieved this way by Christian Dörr himself). There are extra holes drilled in the headstock, probably for previously installed Sperzel tuners - currently, the guitar features Gotoh locking tuners. Nowadays, prices start at 3,500 € for a Dörr tele!
