Christ DiPinto aus Philadelphia wrote this Info: "New for 2026, the DiPinto Quark 6. This is guitar that started the company. I designed and made my first guitar in 1992 and this was it. I made the original out of oak floor boards left over from when my dad was putting down a new hardwood floor in his kitchen. The boards were very thin so I backed it with a piece of white plastic. Even though I had no formal training and the guitar was quite crude, it played and sounded great with a set of old Danelectro pickups. Every time I used it at a show someone would commission me to make a guitar. As the company grew I made guitars for Jack White, Elliott Easton, Cheap Trick, Los Straitjackets, David Bowie, Earl Slick and Adam Sandler to name a few. Now the original guitar that started it all is finally available. 8 were made so far and this is #2. It is a 6 string guitar with lipstick tube pickups, 2 on/off rocker switch for the pickups, a momentary stutter switch and a volume and a tone knob. The body is chambered ash and the neck is maple and rosewood. The electronics are hand-wired here in Philadelphia and the frets are leveled and dress to perfection.
