This Custom Shop Creation features a "flash coat” finish: a weathered polyurethane base under a nitrocellulose lacquer top. That’s what gives it a uniquely "relic'd" look along with plenty of finish checking throughout. It SOUNDS like an early '50s Tele thanks to the dual hand-wound ‘Loaded' '51 Nocaster single-coil pickups, so you can get that iconic Tele twang. It’s also been outfitted with period-correct hardware: a three-saddle '51-'54 Telecaster bridge, vintage-style tuners and a black pickguard. The body is ash, the neck, quartersawn maple with a Nocaster “U" profile, 9.5" fingerboard radius and Sanko 6105 frets, giving it a truly authentic feel.
