2017 Fender Custom Shop '59 Stratocaster Relic, candy apple red

Beschreibung

Super Gitarre im Topzustand und mit einem unfassbar tollen aging!!!! ! Satter, medium+Hals - super schmatziger Sound. Inkl. Original Case, Zertifikat, Zubehör. Here we have for sale an extremely special guitar. In 2017 Lee Anderton & Danish Pete spec’d out 5 Custom Shop stratocasters with their favourite specs to be sold exclusively by Andertons in a very limited quantity, Fender Custom Shop confirmed that this guitar is one of three. You can see it in action in the Andertons video “You Heard The Best Teles - Now Here Come the Strats!”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW88I1YaeNM The body of this strat is constructed using lightweight Ash, and is finished in a stunning candy apple red finish which has been given the standard ‘relic’. This is a great option as you get the awesome worn look and lacquer checking without being too over the top. The neck is where this guitar is very special, it is a John English ‘59 profile, constructed using single piece quarter sawn Maple which has been heavily reliced and given rolled fret edges. It is a really round ‘C’ profile which is quite meaty for a strat, thicker than a 60’s neck but not quite as thick as a ‘54, the heavily relicing on the neck gives it a fantastic played in feel, removing the stickiness of a new nitro neck. ‘59 was a transitional year and is significant as it was the year rosewood was introduced on the fretboard. Pickup wise this guitar is equipped with a trio of the most popular pickups available in the Custom Shop catalogue, a ‘69 in the neck, ‘65 RWRP in the middle and a Texas Special in the bridge. These pickups are quintessentially ‘stratty’, the texas special in the bridge giving a hot SRV style tone and the ‘65 & ‘69 are less harsh to make for mellow tones.
