2004 Fender Custom Shop 1956 Stratocaster 50th Anniversary
Description
This one is somewhat obscure, but an outstanding example nonetheless. Apart from the well-known 2004 Anniversary models, there were two more gold-coloured Anniversaries, a '56-style and a '60. This one is the '56 with a soft-V neck, 9.5" fretboard radius and Dunlop 6105 frets. It is unclear why this example's neck features a 2005 stamp. Additionally, the original certificate was lost, and a new certificate for it was issued in 2016. Still, this one feels all original, not like a partscaster at all, and it sounds fantastic! Very attractive price due to the neck stamp and certificate discrepancies. + + + Comes with original tweed case, accessories, new certificate.
