Description

Fantastic example and a great investment, too! + + + "100% American made in Memphis, TN, 1 7/8" Body Depth, nylon nut, aniline dye neck filler, hot hide glue neck joint, Historic vintage white button tuners, Historic truss rod, dot inlays to the 15th fret, bale tailpiece, 550K audio taper close tolerance individually matched-set potentiometers, "MHS P-90s" (under wound, vintage tone) Alnico III neck, Alnico II bridge. As part of the Historic series, gibson have released the ES-225, a thinline hollow body guitar originally in production between 1955 and 1959. With inspiration coming from the most popular ES-225TD model, this guitar is designed with the twin pickup system of MHS P-90s, giving a rich and vintage tone. A prominent feature of the ES-225 is the single pointed cutaway, giving it stand-out looks and immediate access to the highest frets. Great care and attention has been taken to ensure the guitar looks and plays authentic with historic materials and techniques used in Gibson's Memphis workshop in the USA. A particular feature that is unique among gibson thin-lines is a combination bar bridge/trapeze tailpiece designed by Les Paul himself, seen only on the ES-295 and the earliest Les Pauls. The result is a beautifully historic guitar with a classic set of tones and a stunning, unique look. Pick up a unique piece of Gibson history with the ES-225!"
